Can You Use the Hard Drive from an Xbox Pro and Switch It on to an Xbox 360 Arcade?
My xbox 360 pro broke and i want to get an arcade because it is cheaper. Can I take the hard drive from the pro and place it on an arcade so I ca still have my old memory?
yes because the hard drive is not specific to one specific type of 360. and the Arcade doesn’t come with one (that’s why it’s cheaper) so you’d of had to buy a hard disk drive anyways. just plop it on in and enjoy
yes the hard drives are same size i am positive itll work 100 percent
yes you can becasue hte hard drive can work on any 360 out there in the big bad world
Yes you can! The same exact happened to my Xbox 360. I went out and bought an arcade, popped in my HD and I was up and running again!
However…if you have DLC that’s licensed to your old 360, you will have to re-license it and then redownload it. What I mean is…for example if you have Rockband and you downloaded songs, it will only work with whatever xbox you downloaded from. In order to get it to work on your new one, you’ll have to re-license it and then redownload it.
Hope that helps!
Yes i think so they are basically configured the same
Yes, the inputs are the same and Xbox 360 Arcade can have a hard drive put in because they don’t come with one (which is stupid because you can’t go on Xbox Live without a hard drive).
